In a previous article, we showed you how to create an app on iOS with a basic template.
We also demonstrated how to launch a mobile app with a template on iOS 8, and how to apply that template to OS X with OS X Yosemite.
Now that iOS 8 has released, we’re going to show you how you can create an iPhone app template on a Mac with OS 10.12 El Capitan and 10.13 Lion.
The template you’ll need for this tutorial is a new one available in Apple’s Developer Center.
We’ve written about it in detail before, so if you haven’t already, please check out our tutorial on how to install the new template.
In this article, you’ll learn how to make an iPhone application template, which can then be applied to an Android app.
You can download the template by following these steps: Launch the Developer Center app (either from the Home menu, or from Spotlight).
Choose Settings from the left-hand navigation menu.
Tap on the App tab.
Tap the App Templates button to expand the template section.
Tap Add to create a new template (it’s marked with a green arrow).
Choose Template (from the menu, then Add) to create the template.
Choose the type of template (iPhone or Android app) and the name of the app template.
Once you’ve selected a template, the template will appear in the template list.
You will need to select the template and click OK to start the app.
Once the template is created, the app will launch in a new window and you can then launch the app from there.
After the app launches, you can choose to create or update the template in the App Info panel.
When you’re done, you should see a new iOS app template in your App Info pane.
We’ll show you step-by-step how to add and edit a template from here.
Let’s get started.
Create a template to launch an iPhone mobile app template iOS 8 iOS 9 iOS 10 iPhone templates and their associated icons and labels.
To create an iOS 8 template, you must first create a template for your app in the Developer center.
You may use any template you’ve created before.
Once a template has been created, you will need a URL for it.
To add an icon to a template: On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > About & Security.
From there, tap About & Settings.
Select the iOS template you created.
In the icon and label field, type the URL of your template.
(You’ll need to specify an icon for the template as well as an icon label for the label.)
You can see this URL when you’re on the iPhone screen.
From the icon list, select an icon, then tap Edit.
You’ll need an icon and a label, as well.
To update an existing template: From the App Store, tap Add to new item.
Select your app template from the dropdown menu.
In its top-level template pane, tap Edit from the menu.
Select Add a new item, and then click Create template.
Select Template.
In Template Info, click the Template tab.
Under the Template Info tab, select the icon you just added.
You should see the new icon, as shown below.
The icon should appear in a tooltip.
(The icon should be orange in the screenshot.)
You should also see a link to the template page, which you can see in the image below.
Click the Add button to save the template to your template, and you’ll see the template appear in your template list on the left.
In iOS 8 templates, the URL you entered to add an app icon is the URL from the template you made in iOS 7.
On OS X templates, if the URL is the same as the URL on your iOS 8 app, you won’t see a template page in your Template Info pane (the app’s icon will not appear in any of the template information in your app’s Info pane).
To update a template in OS X, open the Finder and double-click the Template file in the Finder’s Open folder.
Select Edit Template.
Select File, and select the Template template you just created.
From Template Info (on the left), choose Edit.
Choose Edit Template, and click Edit.
Enter a new URL for the new app icon.
(In this case, the AppInfo URL is https://www.luby.com/appinfo/template.aspx?id=my_app_icon_for_my_mac_app.)
Click OK to save your changes.
You now have an app template for iOS 8.
You’re now ready to start creating an iPhone iPhone template for an Android application template.
You must first make a template with the app icon and the label, and create an icon from that template.
To do that, open your app, select your app icon
